Details
The Runswick Bay is situated amid some stunning scenery surrounded by Yorkshire moorland, on one side, dramatic cliff walks, and on the other a sweeping bay beach.
The beach is popular with fossil hunters, surfers, canoeists and beach-combers, and its little rock pools provide endless fascination for children. The soft sand is also ideal for relaxing within this sheltered bay.
The village of Runswick is a quaint collection of picturesque cottages, very popular with artists. Our situation by the 'Cleveland Way' national trail, and our warm friendly welcome to pets also makes us popular with walkers.
The inn itself is a traditional village pub, popular with locals and visitors alike. We offer comfortable en-suite modern accommodation and our food has a great reputation for its traditional offering and quality local ingredients.
A perfect place to relax, in the evenings we offer many delights from impromptu folk music, to local characters arguing over fishing tales and real ales. And if there is a chill in the air, you can enjoy all this by a warming coal fire.
